Walk in the Vineyard Wine Trail Weekend

12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Come celebrate summer at Sharrott Winery for the Walk in the Vineyard Weekend. Wineries throughout the state will be open for tasting and touring.

Winemaker Guided Tours “from vine to wine” at Sharrott Winery will be at 1:00 and 3:00. Tour will begin in the vineyard where you will learn about New Jersey viticulture and continue up to the winery where you will see how the wine is made. Wine tasting will being in the vineyard and continue throughout the tour.

Wine tasting and tour is $8.00 per person. The tasting includes a Sharrott Winery etched wine glass and samples of award winning Sharrott wine.

Sharrott Winery Takes “Best Chardonnay” at 9th Annual Finger Lakes International Wine Competition

The Sharrott Winery, estate-grown 2008 Unoaked Chardonnay won Best Chardonnay at the 2009 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition. Held March 29th 2009 in Rochester, NY, the competition was officiated by judges and wine experts from the full range of disciplines—winemakers, sommeliers, chefs, oenologists, wine educators and restauranteurs. There were 2665 entries from 556 wineries representing 13 countries, 41 states and 4 Canadian provinces.
